What We Believe

  • We believe in one God in three persons: God the Creator, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the love of God, who is caring, loving, merciful, and slow to anger.
  • We believe in life after death in God’s Kingdom (Heaven).
  • We can receive this life after death by the Grace of God alone.
  • We are justified for this Grace of God by our Faith in the Triune God alone.
  • Our theology and teachings are based upon Scripture (the Bible) and clear reason alone.
  • We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ and in letting God enter our hearts.
  • We believe that in confession and repentance we will recognize forgiveness of our sins through the life, crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.
  • We recognize the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion as making clear our relationship with God.
  • We follow Christ’s example of how to live and treat others.
  • We believe that all people are welcome and Holy communion is open to all.
