Eden's Ministries and Groups
Eden Lutheran Evangelical Church offers a number of ministries and programs, including:
- ELCW
- The Eden Lutheran Church Women are those people of our wonderful congregation of the female gender that get together to make the Church run as it should... with love.
- ELCW's Readin' Eden
- A small group book club sponsored by the ELCW.
- ELS - see <www.edenlutheranpreschool.org>
- The Eden Lutheran Preschool is for children from age 2 to 5.
- Youth
- This ministry is for those people who are anywhere from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
- Finance
- Keeping the books in order and recommending the best policies for the Church.
- Learning
- Established to aid everyone in their growth of the knowledge of God's word, this ministry works diligently toward this end.
- Outreach
- Works primarily with helping the Church to grow as directly commissioned by God.
- Property
- Keeping the campus looking great for everyone to enjoy.
- Service
- We continually try to do our best to help our brothers and sisters through Christ, and everyone in our community for that matter. None at Eden do it better.
- Stewardship/Fellowship
- Some people have all the fun... or at least get to plan it. Also recognize the talents of the members of the church to best serve God.
- Technology
- Sees to various technological aspects at Eden, including the Web site, networking and hardware.
- Worship & Music
- Deals with all aspects of worship from the visual (see the vestments and the flowers at the altar) to auditory (hear the choir or special performances) to the spiritual (wonder who prepares the sacraments?)
