Petal Pushers 2007
On Sunday, December 27th, a group of Eden's Youth, Adults, and friends joined 5,000 other volunteers in Pasadena to decorate this years' magnificent 2010 Rose Parade floats. Our group was fortunate enough to help with the Lutheran Hour float which featured a replica of the Ten Commandments and the Ark of the Covenant! Since it was still a few days before the parade, our work consisted mainly of prepping. ÊWe cut yellow and purple straw flowers and peeled bark into narrow strips. Êsome of us climbed up scaffolding and glued the non-perishable materials onto the floats. A good time was had by all! Those attending were Steve, Arlea, Zack, and Josh; Patty and Rachel; Rachel's friend, Kelly; Emily and her friend Faith; Debbie and Mike.
